Fisheries Information Management System.
For the purpose of monitoring fishermen welfare schemes and transfer the contribution /benefit to the fishermen bank account using e-DBT at finger tip effectively, efficiently and in a transparent way.
System adminstrator will provide the roll based user credentials for accesing the data.
In the home page under search option, the citizen can enter the type of application.
    This is one of the fisheries welfare scheme - Savings cum relief scheme. Fishing activity is seasonal in nature and hence fishermen are in deep distress during lean period. The scheme intends to provide off-season relief to marine and inland fishermen in the State. In this scheme, the Centre and the State contribute the same amount raised by fishermen. The total amount thus collected will be paid to the fisher folk during the lean months in equal installments.
    Lean months in different parts of the coast vary according to climatic conditions and monsoon weather. Therefore, Director of Fisheries of the respective maritime states/UT’s will have the discretion, based on the climatic changes and other valid reasons to decide which are the lean months in a year. However, the number of lean months will be limited to four.

A person who is professionally engaged in full time fishing in sea, is member of Cooperative Society/Federation/Welfare Society, lives below poverty line, does not own mechanized fishing boat/beach landing craft and is below 60 years of age. If any member of a fishermen family has regular employment or indulges in any other income generating activity, such family will not qualify to be beneficiary under this component.
By using the URL provided, application can be submitted online or approaching the nearest fisheries station to submit the application. There application will be submitted digitally.
The application submitted by the fishermen will be verified and approved by the concerned officers and after approval Registration number will be allotted to the fishermen.
The grievance can be lodged and its status can be monitored through the Online feed back available at home page of the portal.
